not startin

when i turn my key theres nothin but a buzzin noise comin frm the starter area could it be this?

battery charged?

its a new battery

might sound funny but hit the starter motor with a hammer, it could be jammed.

hitting it with a hammer is exactly what you wanna do, cuz the starter might be stuck!

if this doesnt work then try shorting the starter motor, by touching a piece of wire between the battery wire and the ignition wire on the starter...this should make the starter motor turn over.

if still no luck then you need a new starter.


i had change mine on my 8v wednesday afternoon cuz it decided to be f*cked all of a sudden.

shouldnt take long todo....maybe half hour!

tried the hammer trick, I cant get 2 the thing its in such a stupid place its on the bk of the engine.

put a block of 2x2 on the starter and then hit that with them hammer, also try rocking the car at the same time as you try and start it

i always fixs things with a hammer or cable ties matty

yea shorting it out usally works too

have you tried bump starting it? if it starts that way your starter motor will be dead then

Hahaha no billy hammers fix things, cable ties just hold it where you want it till you can get hold of a hammer

well if it started that way then it must be the starter motor thats dead
