| i currently have the standard driver interior in my car and am wanting an upgrade so was wondering if the mk3 interior would fit at all! would the door cards fit?? | |

| think you will find the front seats fit but thats about it . my mate has a couple of GTI interiors if your intrested. | |

| I know you can fit the seats, but you have to modify the rear leg on both seats (outer leg closest to door) you need to cut it off and shorten it an inch or so, but dunno how to fit the rears. | |

| Mk3 seat base will swap over onto the Mk2 base if they are non Recaro. Then you can unbolt the backrest and swap it over. If you want to fit recaro you need to cut and weld the one leg to fit into the runners on your car. Not too hard, I have them in my Mk2. There is a good guide over on Club Gti. | |
