| Go to a diy store and head towards the kitchens area. There's patterned vinyl there including a smarties pattern | |

i take it your bonnet was absolutely mint before you vinyl'd? heard vinyl really shows up imperfections when put onto bodywork.. looked very good at the meet by the way, was in the blue golf next to you

| i saw on one of those "car is born" programs the guy used stick on numberplates. in order to get them right he put soapy water on the bonnet and stuck the stickers onto that. when the water dried they were all stuck like proper innit.
worth a try maybe? | |

| that's what you can do with tint film, soapy water solution in a spray gun gives you about a minutes worth of slipping it around before it gets stuck properly.. worked a treat when i once had tints in! only a single defect cheers for the links and stuff tho guys.. just need to decide a pattern | |

looked very good at the meet by the way, was in the blue golf next to you the bonnet was far from mint, i done a blow in on it and was not happy with it, that why i used the vinyl to cover it its like it was never there i used a squezy bottle and washing up lic, with water, placed them, then used a hair dryer and push the water out with a car ice scraper with masking tape on the end to stop it scratching. glad you liked it

| i tucked them under the bonnet, but once they were dry. my addvise to anyone that wants to do it is take you time, mesure well, mark it all out first, and do one at a time! the bonnet wasnt on the car when i done it, i put it on the garden table as it was easy to get round. its not that bad to do, its just geting it write, and geting the air bubbles out, i riped sevril off as i wernt happy with them! | |
