| theres an art to getting over really bad ones. not too slow or you will get stuck but not too fast or you rip things off! and angle is everything! lol | |

| lol well im not down to 120mm, but not too much left on the threads. when you say angle, is it better to go for it from an angle rather than straight on? occasionally catch this mega bump in soham | |

| someone on edition said taking the helpers out might be dangerous? that's quite brave of you bummer. ill try going over diagonal, but 1 of the bumps (1 each way) is higher than the other as i always scrape over there, but only sometimes over the other.. hmm.. are we talking bumps which cover the whole width of the road, or the kind which sit in the center with gaps either side? im thinking about modding the 1 in soham :cyclops: | |

| any bump at all! the more angle you take the more wheels will be on the bump at the same time (in theory) | |

| hmm im going to have to try this me thinks, will give it a go with the angle and come back at you.. was thinking of putting something on the other side of the bump to keep the height for as long as possible. not sure if people would like a nice chunk of concrete put on it though, also not sure if cars would stay away from it long enough for the concrete to set while im stealthily slapping it down like a ninja also, sorry for another thread hijack, as it were, but do you have any problems with the angles of the other suspension parts? since slamming mine do to 2cm left on threads it seems the excess pressure has left the arms etc hating it and giving horrific noises | |

| my arms and drive shafts are at a stupid angle but i have no noises my drives shafts did hit the chassis legs alot but they have now notched and the only noise i get now is my subframe hitting teh floor , but joe said on his mk3 the arms made some noises he just had to grind a small bit away is that right joe? | |

| that's what it is is it? damn... lol been pulling my hair out.. probably why it didn't make the noise at an acceptable height lol.. if the car lasts this long - would you fancy coming for a spin at the next meet or whatever to see if we're talking about the same noise? | |
