hi its taken me ages but i have finally managed to work the computer.
first up this is the first car i have ever done as in modifiyed. and i couldn't weld at the start. hence why its taken me so long i will have owned it for 3years on the 26th.
a few pics of before.
Unfortunatly i have lost my phone which had all the pics of doing the whole front end:cry: well here are some pics of parts of it that have needed sorting.front wings are 2 inches wider then standard.cut this corner off of one of my othe beetles and welded in not to bad was really tricky as the old metal did not exist.all sides now clamped in and one of my fav pics her wide assthats just a few of the pics!!!
i have been exstending the rear archs lower as they are too shor also been making my running boards more pics to follow soon. o and the rear arches a 4 inces wider each side.
please tell me your ideas.

This is my old bug from when i lived on the 40ft river bank about 6 years ago It was in need of a resto then! I sold it to a mate from whitelsea he didnt keep it long before it dissapared, nice to know its being put back together again. I brought it from under a hedge in Murrow then ran it as a shiter for just over a year, dont know if its still with it but i put a 1641 in it with scat C40 cam and a twin choke weber, used to drive well. Will try to find some pics for you from the shows
