Anyone changed the gear linkage bushes on mk2 16v? whats it like to do? shall probably be doing it on the driveway. Hoping its going to make first gear alot easier to get in. Thought id try the cheapest option first...

easyyyyyy. The only slightly annoying one if the big orange bush that goes in the selector part bolted to your subframe/steering rack. I recomment unbolting it and taking it off the car rather than messing about with it on the car.

oh rite ok.. so is this done from underneath? havent looked very much but from what i can see under the gear stick gaiter it didnt look like it came out that way.
