i have all new parts for the engine, so its like new. just waiting on piston rings from germany. its also getting a fresh respray so will get some pics soon.

This was just round the industrial estate near mine.If u want a good pick spot go to the 3 story garages opposite the new ugly round court house in town near grafton theres some good graff in there.

Cheers for the comments. Yeah its on the road now lance, think i need new top mounts coz theres a knocking from them but otherwise it goes very well indeed.

Yes happy with it. Allways wanted a mk1 g60 after my mate in florida had one but its built on a budget and far from perfect.

that looks sick! my mate was saying he saw a blue mk1 around cambridge and couldnt keep up in his mk5 gti, i didnt believe him, but this is proof. lovely car!

nah his 1 is red, apparantly u left him for dead haha, brilliant! what engine work you had done? im doing a similar convertion myself, just started to get the ball rolling after a month of sitting and looking at it haha got so many headaches to get over but it's all part of the fun!

Lol!Well its had new rings and the cylinders honed out, new bottom end bearings and oil jets, recon crankshaft,new oil pump,.t.s.r pack A head ported and flowed,piper fast road cam,stage two charger with 68mm pully and chip,cone filter and full supersprint exhaust system including manifold,mk4 golf hydrolic clutch and cable change, Er and power stearing.When i got it from a guy in wembley it was a non runner with rallye front end, clipper kit with corrado fogs in the front bumper, 17in porsche cups a bit 90s stylie.

lol god a rallye end sounds awful on a mk1, looks so much better now, where did u get your small bumpers from by the way? that's gotta be running well over 200 bhp then, u had it rolling roaded? should pop into haverhill 2nite for the mini meet?
