| 4-2-1 more low end grunt (torque)
4-1 high rpm flow so less torque bottom end and more pull uptop(bhp) | |

| its normally defined as 4-2-1 for roaduse/fastroad use
4-1 for track and lumpy scatter cams etc
I ran a pretty softish cam(270 degree) with a 4-1 and went like hell up top but i did feel a loss of some lowdown power in an 8v though mind but effects are the same in a 16v | |

| anyone know of any decent priced 4-2-1's out in the world! ive found a fairly cheap 4-1 but by the sound of it thats no good for me! altho i do already have a 4-1 on my 1.8 at the mo but that was REALLY cheap and its bout knackered | |
