| Has a bespoke Union Flag parcel shelf cover. Loooking a bit worse for wear but kicking off a little project with it to smarten it up a bit. If anyof you spot the plate, you'll see why the car has that name! For those that may recall I attempted a MK1 project to build a drag racer but a series of unfortunate events in my life has meant a lot of changes and that had to go. Subsquently I have been off the radar for a while but looking to get involved somewhat and maybe get to the odd meet. Please or beep as you overtake or swerve to avoid my driving! Cheers, Daz. | |

| I have just driven up to Mablethorpe for the weekend, so got a agood journey in to settle the new setup. I have read on various forums that they can be harsh but i didn't think it was that bad. With the TT solid rear bushes also I thought there would be a dramatic change. I have a forty mile round trip daily commute during the week and don't envisage it being too harsh for that.
I have generated an ABS fault through doing this so will have to get back under it next weekend and make sure everything is still tight too!
Next on the menu will be some uprated pads, full brake bleed and some mild lows.
I have started refurbing the wheels, so got one Black alloy on the front left at the mo! Yes it looks ridiculous but I don't care! | |

| I had a head on a bolt snap off as it had rusted on so I had to drill out the old bolt. Then I had a abs fault found that the sensors are magnetic and all the small bits of metal has attached its self to the sensor. I will go poly bush then if its too noticeable I too had hear it makes the ride harsh Just need the car back first as she's away having a few tweeks done | |

| Yes Paul! I have already noted the metal filing build up on the nearside sensor. Haven't had the opportune moment to attack it with a pressure washer yet The easiest way to get the ball joints off for me was to loosen the bolt and hacksaw through the threaded shaft. No bother as they were getting changed too, quicker than faffing about with my limited workshop tool range that has probably caused the filing buildup on the sensor! | |
