I've been a member on UK Passats for a few years now, can't believe i haven't come across this local club before.
I'm old enough to have owned some greats, some horrors and some needs must kinda cars!
VW history though is
1) 1992 Scirocco which was completely standard and before i had any real interest in modding etc.
2) 1999 B5 Passat TDI estate bought due to expanding family. Then discovered UKP and before you know it i'm a wheel whore! Amazing car, racked up 202k with no problems. Still miss it.
3) 1994 B4 Passat estate i bought as a weekend toy while i still had the B5. Lowered on Mim palermos.
Sold both and got....
4) Current car - 1993 Passat estate (spotting a theme?!) on Aluline (ATS Cup lookalikes) and coilies - cos March roads are built for coilovers
looking through some of the posts i think i saw Mark 1VW (?) in his yellow T4 with a black bonnet on Sunday? I was coming out of Halfords/Argos/ARC car wash...
Anyway, look forward to chewing the fat
