does anybody know if a mk1 golf filler neck is the same as a mk2 scirocco?

mk1 golf has a 3 bolt fixing into the body panel and the cap fits to this

but the scirocco has a flap on the body panel ( like a mk2 golf)

i need to replace the neck on my scirocco but its impossible to get hold of one , all i can get hold of is a mk1 golf one

anybody have any info on this , would be very greatfull Thumbs up
