| i only ever really read p.v.w and GOLF+ these days SO Wtf is up with every single car in that mag stealing dub styling and claiming it as there own ? a RENAULT clio on porsche D90's and a rat look astra estate ????? am i the only one who thinks thats wrong ??? every other car had schmidts on it OR someother well known styling nod in our direction ??? i know ben chandler is part of grounded and works for the mag but jesus they may as well copy pvw word for word and even stealing there feature on banded steelies too (coz a rat civic or nova on banded steels is the future right ?) obviously im aware that euro styling if for all european cars but porsche rims on a phucking renault???? whats that all about ?? rant over lol | |

| im aware of this too! euro is the new cool for all marques but everyone seems to forget the times when they dissed cars with small wheels and no bodykits! it hasnt quite caught on in Sutton Bridge yet, the majority of ol' boys dont even relise that my car isnt standard. my mate Paul got a set of deep dish MIM wheels for £80 off one of em cuz the boy thought they were gay and he needed some 5 spokes. | |

| So what man, better that than the sh1te they used to do.
All the better for it, let 'em finally learn something.
Anyway, nobody 'owns' a style.

| if its the clio i think it is (white, on air, furry cow print interior?) i think it foooookin rad. looks awesome.
as said no one owns a style, just certain styles lend themselves to certain cars better than they do to others. a 'euro' supra or something doesnt do it for me, but then same car modified to drift spec does, and vice versa for a mk1 golf per say. euro will have had to have started from somewhere. everything evolves from something.

| I've noticed this a lot recently as well. I remember last year, seeing a black mk3 Astra GSi on polished 928 rims (wonder where he got that idea from ), thinking that looked cool and that everone would start doing it soon...... nice to see the veedub scene leading the way and converting others | |

| if you want a rat build a rod not a vauxhall!!!they should stick to body kits and loud sound systems instead of copying something they dont understand. what next stick on rust patches and old looking steelys in halfords. ] | |

they should stick to body kits and loud sound systems instead of copying something they dont understand. Yeah but come on, have you seen the brand new MkV GTi with a rusted bonnet? Do you think he understands rat style or rat rods? It's just attention, it's not any particular car's style.

| yer but it will make the rat look uncool just like the way spinners and chrome rims are uncool.rat look is a way of being different to the boy racers not the same. rat look should be kept to rods and retro dubs, not 90s astras and corsas. There not old enough to be cool and rat look with bucket seat and body kits! | |

| i saw this kinda thing starting to appear a fair few months ago, a ford puma smoothed on schmidts and an escort estate on 928s. now we all no that the car world is catching up on our styling. But we rip he piss outta bodykits and sh1te wheels?? so why are we moaning when they start to do things right?? less shitters on the road, im all for euro look everything. But as for this fake ratlook bollocks. i cant stand it to be honest. Now i love ratlook, when its real patina, old sunburnt paint and 40 year old panels. But why anyone would fook up a perfectly good paintjob is miles past me?? Fair enough if its a shitter and your paints looking rubbish, cover it in cheap matte paint, but its not ratlook . | |

| I agree with most comments there. French and euro is a no go in my eyes. But i do think that novas have a lot of potential for the euro look. Once you ditch the chavvy bits i think they are a cool looking motor. Im still on the hunt for a 1.5td nova. | |

| im some ways i think its good that they coming to there senses and in other ways i dont.
it might mean less corsa's riding round on 18's about 3 feet in the air, but at the same time we might be mistaken for chavs?
there will always be differences though. take the last fendubbers meet for example - when the chavs turned up the police wernt far behind due to them racing and being noisy.
what were we doing? throwing fruity bears at tiz. theres the difference
(by the way, throwing gummy sweats at tiz is most amusing)
