Well did plan on getting the parts out the golf and getting it on the rollover jig today but as I got side swiped on the way up the unit in the polo wasn't really motivated anymore so just emptied the polo with the remaining tools I had to take up there and sorted them out decided to call it a day. Hopefully bank holiday will have it on roll over jig.

No it was like for like damage so decided to sort our own cars out instead of going thro insurance. Rear quarter dented paint starting to flake off and a few scuff marks on drivers door and wing mirror broke nothing major I suppose. Arh well it happens don't it.

Unlucky dude. Least it's the polo and not the mk1 hey. Sure you'll have it sorted in no time though

Well not much progress over bank holiday until today was hoping to get it on rollover jig but not quite there yet. Well took rear window out and removed and stripped boot lid removed all wires took back to front of the cars removed the rest of the set belts grab handles and carpets. Removed front to doors and bonnet removed all rubbers and plastics. So just pretty much roof lining and rear windows to finishing stripping the back and dash onwards to finish stripping so not a bad day

Yeah it's quite a big unit can fit three cars long and have space to work and at a push could probably fit 6 cars in side by side but you wouldnt be able to even walk round so not a bad size

Anyway thanks dude hopefully get more stripped out at the weekend Thumbs up

And finally removed all the bits left on the golf so it is now a bare shell

Nice progress dude, looks like a good solid shell.. Bet you can't wait to be bolting bits back on though rather than removing them, but doesn't look like it will be long Smile
