my a4 daily.

well after selling my jetta i had no idea what to get. so searching autotrader i came accross this a4, phoned the bloke and found out it needed a few bits doing here and there, so went to have a look at it and put a offer in, amazingly he accepted my offer of £500..... it needs mopping as there are loads of scratches and blemishes all over it, the boot lid needs painting a new rear bumper 1 rear light and bonnet needs painting, the cd changer has packed up, oh and a good service lol. but all in all shes quite nice, im not one for luxury cars but i like driving it, just needs some rs4 18's and dropping slightly, so heres some pics,

thought i'd do a little up date as its been a while, i have spent most of my time sorting little issues in and around her, replaced the stupid audi rear speaker amp as it had gone, sorted interior lights as rears weren't working, replaced rear lights as they were cracked in places, fitted 6000k hid kit, and decided on fitting a bonnet bra,

atm the car is in bits as its had running issues as well, scanned it and found it to be the lambda sensor, so i have had to strip out most of the under bonnet plastics to get to it......ball ache lol. while i have it in bits im going to give it a good clean up and a good service,

tbh what i paid for the car its worth spending a little to get it sorted, picking up some rs4 18s next week and going to start looking in to coilovers i think. but at the min im getting prices on paint work as the rear bumper is scuffed to hell and the ns wing has been painted by a blind man lol. so if any one fancys doing it cheap for me for cash let me know lol.

as some of u may know i got made redundent in march so this is a budget build lol. so dont expect to much lol.

i will get some pics up in the week when i get my new camera lead.

small up date, replaced the lambda with a bosch one...................now runs like crap! hesitating and generally holding back through out the rev range. so its going back to be scanned monday, rs4's are now on..................introducing to you my audi 4x4 lol. next after sorting out the running issue will be coil overs...... pic below lol

Wheels look better fella I think coilovers are a must

yeah defo lol. drives like a boat at min lol. and looks like a allroad lol.

i may just get it on the road this year if i manage to get it running right lol. refer to my post in engine and gearbox section.

I was just reading that mate get some sure start or cold start spray on the hoses finds any splits or take them off

been there done that lol. i have replaced 2 that looked suspect.

well on the way to the garage this morning squeal slap slap.......the smell of burnt rubber coming from the vents....... pulled over to find the a/c belt melted and wrapped round the a/c pully.... by the looks of it the a/c pump as either jammed up or seized..... well took a pic of the car as i had just washed it and put the bra back on.

bra now removed. much prefer it.



mot on 26th, so new brakes to be done and cv boot...then dreaded road rent at end of month.

CV Boot was deffo shot then mate good luck with the MOT

yep, split most the way round, thats next weekends job and brakes all round. think it will sail through mot after that. well i hope it will.
