Finally got a dub again

It's been too long without a dub so finally got a new one, but this time gone for air cooled.









As she stands, should be good for 12 second quarters (once it's been on the rolling road next week) so will run it like that for next year, but the fuel injection system is ready to take NOS so in a couple of years hopefully in the 11's

Current plans are a cage, harnesses, seats and some gauges so I can see what the engines doing. VW Mike is helping me fit this lot up over the next couple of days then it's off to the dyno next Friday with the first outing in anger hopefully being at GTi fest on Oct 16th to see what she'll get up the strip.

I owe massive thanks to Mike for going to collect it last night, excellent service as per usal and a cracking price. Can't recommend him highly enough for moving cars.

Last night we fitted the gauges and a few other bits and attempted to fit the cage...

f*****g bolt in cages, don't beleive a word of it. 2 hours and still don't have the rear hoop in.......

After Steven and Dave came round the other nigh I've gotta re stock. Tesco's run tomorrow I think.

I'll get that bugger in this weekend though so it'll just leave the harnesses and gauges to finish before the rolling road

Not a problem dude, but to be honest I must have had a few cos I can remember giving a beer to some one but wouldn't know you from Adam
