Pretty cool if you ask me. Definitely a different style to the usual "coffee-table-with-a-wheel-for-a-base" method.

Yeah I really don't like it. I'm tempted to make my oz turbos into tables but won't be doing it like them, partly cos they are only 2 piece, and partly cos that looks Wank.
A base for a big lamp would be a nice matching addition
