Corrado 16v - Begging to be turbo'd! :)

Well, after getting rid of my mk1, i decided i needed something a little bit more usable every day. The sound of the mk1 on bike carbs didn't outweigh the feeling of being in a tumble dryer :(

Got this off a lad on edition. I'm resisting the urge to do much to it at the moment, but i can almost guarantee it will become an ongoing project once i get myself a caddy van to use for work as a daily.

Will be saving up over the winter months for a decent engine setup. For now i'm on the hunt for some decent winter wheels



Comes with grey leather which is a lovely comfort i haven't had in a long time! electric windows is a treat aswell

The wheels are in need of a refurb which i will do over the winter. I think they have been rebuilt quite badly as there are bits of sealant on the face of the wheels

But i got hold of some metal polish and tried to get them shining again



Got quite a few plans for it to make it my own. Felt like a bit of a fraud rolling up to edition in what is essentially someone else's car, but hopefully i can take it to the next level



And this picture below shows how sick the colour is. Didn't see another 1 in this colour at edition or players

I was eyeing this up at Players, looks sooooo good! Had looked at the for sale thread on E38 a couple of time too!

Steve was in his A3 behind you and I was behind him as I have his old Rado on Brocks now

I have thought about changing the rims but got told off by Steve when I mentioned it , will let you know if I do tho....

ah i see, both cars looked sweet! One of the previous owners had mine on brocks aswell, so i might have to try something different anyway.

Looks tidy dude, I didnt know you had sold the mk1!

I just lost the love of the mk1. I think it was a cursed car or something. When the lad got it home, the wheel bearing obliterated, resulting in the wheel nearly coming off. Then 2 weeks later, he got spun out on the motorway by a lorry
The lad was ok but the car was ruined down 1 side :(

Got love for the corrado though. They are worlds apart! Low and slow ftw!

Small update, got myself some winters however i might have to sell it to fund a van for work :(
would rather not have to do it, but needs must.

I just think I will be able to save up for something with 20 valves if I've only got a diesel to run over the winter. 2 lots of insurance and maintenance will drain my funds :(
