Been let down on payment for a job, so no funds available . Dam, that's a shame dude. I enjoyed playing 'follow the van' last year. So if you and Lee aren't coming, does this still mean we have clubstand space? As far as I can tell, it's first-come-first-served on where the actual clubstands are positioned, but do we have to let them know what club we are when we enter?
And is there going to be any issues for those who are meeting us there? I know the gates for the showground close at 10am, so they need to be there before that.
I'm still definitely going, so i'm quite happy to get to Brampton at 6am and lead everyone to DC if they're cool with that.
So i've updated the list with the cars so we know who/what to wait for at Brampton, and who/what to expect to join us at the showground. Is this now up to date?
Brampton Hut Matty (E46 M3) Stampers (E36 328i) Lupton (MK4 1.8T) Curtis (MK4 TDI) Alpha (?) Jimmy (118D) Possibly Iain from Ikustoms (?) G60SG (MK2 G60) s-Jay1 + 1 car (MK2 & Lupo)
Meet There Cupcake (Polo Breadvan) Luke (Rado) Whittle (Rado - possibly) tomstanforster (?) Adam (E46 Compact) Dan (E30 - possibly)
Let me know if I've missed anything/anyone out. And please let me know if i've missed your car off the list or it has a (?) next to your name (just so I can tell if we're missing anyone in the convoy). I remember playing catch up after i stopped to drop the kids off...pretty much top speed of the van to catch up and just caught up with you guys for the slip road to the show Yep you still have a clubstand space. I asked for the same as we had last year right by the entrance to the show field. Just mention the fendubbers plot when you arrive and they will direct you where to go

| Ok, so as the show is tomorrow, I thought I'd run through the list one last time. This just means we know how many people are convoying and how many people are joining us later. DC11 - Turweston Aerodrome, Northampton (NN13 5YD) Convoy from Brampton Hut - Arrive 6am, Leave 6.15am. Arrive at DC11 roughly 7.30am.Brampton HutMatty (E46 M3) Stampers (E36 328i) Lupton (MK4 1.8T) Curtis (MK4 TDI) Alpha (?) Possibly Iain from Ikustoms (?) s-Jay1 + 1 car (MK2 & Lupo) Tomstanforster + 1 car (MK1 Cabby & 911) Meet at DCCupcake + 1 car (Polo Breadvan & Audi) Whittle (Rado - possibly) Adam (E46 Compact) DirectionsI've mapped out the route on Google Maps from Brampton Hut in case anyone gets lost or needs to know the way back. I've also made sure it misses out the village of Whitfield as the event organisers would rather the traffic didn't pass through the village. Click the link below to see... Directions from Brampton Hut to DC11DetailsIf you get to the gates a bit later than the convoy, best thing to do would be to tell the attendants you are on the FenDubbers clubstand. That should mean you'll get sent through to the rest of the club. If not, there is plenty of extra space in the secondary showfield that is on the opposite side of the tarmac/runway. Weather's set to be a good one (hopefully I can be bothered to clean/detail my car on site! Bloody rain...). If you get lost from the convoy, are running late, or don't know where the clubstand is feel free to give me a buzz. I'll have my mobile on all day, the number is: 07540 354013. Just ask for Antony (Stampers).Anyway, see you all tomorrow! | |

I missed the convoy by 45mins. The guy at the entrance didn't have a clue when I got there (and there wasn't many cars there at all at that point) but 2 other stewards pointed the Fendubbers guys out. There was only 4 cars from FD (Matty, Joe, S-Jay-1 and his mate), and then me. No room near them so had to park a bit further down. So yeah, wouldn't really call it a clubstand to be fair. Bit of a sh!t turnout from us I think... (my bad for being late, but at least I let Matty know so they could leave Brampton on time). I stayed til the very end. Was nice to see the awards varied out this year, rather than the same ol' stuff getting picked. Very impressed with the MK5 winner, and the E46 2nd place (the owner was 69!).

| When we left there was like nobody there, except men cleaning up rubbish, we didn't even realise cuz we'd been sat behind the cars having a bbq haha! Did anyone see my polo? I was parked up the far left when you came in, by the custom cars and mini clubstands. | |
