| My shell needs work and to do it properly will take time, so i have bought a bare shell which needs more work but not interested in doing such a good job, just get it welded up, maybe even hand paint it, so made a start and roughly welded up the clutch cable hole which had been very badly welded before, so it looks rough but its strong and rust free.

| This shell was originally grey which i could have lived with but it has been badly hand painted orange which is horrible and peeling of in places. Also it came without a windscreen which i need to fit to try and make it weatherproof , so as my favourite colour is mars red i thought i would spray around the windscreen opening. Took it all back to bare metal first, no rust, not too bad for aerosol cans. | |

| The seam in front of the petrol tank was very rusty with a hole at either end so i ground what was left of it away then welded the two sides together and plated the side holes, here is one side all undersealed up, not pretty but solid and rustfree | |

| Now on to the usual hole in spare wheel well, been welded up before but left bare metal by the look of it so once the rusty bits have been cut out now have quite a big hole to fill in. also got a few small rust holes down the side near the rear turret, now platedand painted the seam that joins the rear panel will also require somw plating Went out this morning to do some more but just not in the mood today, regret buying it at the moment, so here are my welded, powder coated, poly bushed, new balljointed wishbones. | |
