New toy

Brought this off a sound guy from vwcaddy.com on sunday. Well chuffed with it. Moneys a bit tight at the moment so dont think ill be doing much to it for the near future, bit of rust to tidy up, take off the bump strips and hopefully be able to afford some wheels at some point. In my opinion I dont think it needs much else. What do u think?

Right, ive finally managed to figure out how 2 get pictures up (i hope!) so here goes!

A credit to her previous owner, she's been very well looked after. Since i got her ive done a few little bits. I stripped the back out and fully insulated it with some spaceage bubblewrap (cheers Greeny!)
Apparently a 4mm layer gives the equivalent of 55mm normal insulation.....better double it up then!









Im currently ripping up ply to fit the rear and roof. Need to make up a bulkhead too which can house my speakers and carpet it all. Ill get some pics this weekend if all goes well!

Got a pair of mk3 gti seats for it on saturday from jimuk16, cheers pal swapped the backs round and voila!

Also swapped the ariel over for a beesting ala halfords, and put some black vinyl over the ripspeed logo

Got some Ibiza mirrors, rattled them up and stuck them on


I think its looking a bit better now, looking forward to the weekend and hopefully finishing up in the back.

Ive filled the gaps in the insulation in now b4 anyone says!

Little bit of progress on the caddy yesterday! I managed to avoid the wedding and got to spend my time wisely wrapping my roof........well, until about 2ish when i gave in to jthe temptation and went to the pub! Will be finishing the front today and get more pics up later
