| My gf had her car keyed a while back and about a week I spent a few hours with cutting compound and got rid if most of the scratch, I then used t-cut after to help shine the paintwork as naturally it was dull after cutting compound.
What stuff do I use after t-cut as I normally use auto glym super resin polish but I believe this doesn't help with scratches and imperfections.

| I never use t-cut for that reason, I have had good results on miine with the megs paint cleaner solution. Its stage one of three in a like of correction, polish and wax that they do. | |

| Not sure if I'm completely honest, its a 2000 mk1 focus very similar to the mk4 golf indigo blue. How do I tell if its lacquer or gloss as I'm not very experienced at all when it comes to paint etc | |

| Is it metallic or not?
I use ultra fine polish which eliminates swirls and holograms. Done using my mop with the correct head. | |

| From what I can remember its not metallic. I haven't got a polishing machine I do all mine by hand with stockinette and microfibre cloths. I've got a mini grinder is it right you can get the heads to go on that and would that give better results. | |

| Don't use a grinder. You can't adjust the speed on them. That colour you mean is a right pig to do so there's no way you'll get it nice by hand. It takes time with a mop | |

| What's the best way to get it a little better than it is now then? | |
