was woken at 4 this morning by the police, because they had found my girlfriends golf.

it seems that it was taken about 3am, they only drove it/pushed it a few hundred yards into the next street then set fire to it right outside someones house. it got that hot the windows in the house cracked and it melted the back of their car.

i had 2 of my oz turbos in the back along with my bike. i would have expected them to steal them but no, they just burnt them Evil or Very Mad

on a lighter note, its definatly lower than billy's mk2 was.

Thats beyond rubbish dude! You had a chance to talk to your insurance yet? We had some s**t nicked out of our Range Rover a few years ago and the insurance company were right jebends about the value of the claim!

I had my polo stolen and burnt a few years ago a few days before my 21st too maybe a pattern emerging!!

Hope you get sorted out quicker with insurance than I am at the moment!!

It's hard to believe someone can do that to your car.
I was so pissed off when someone bricked the windscreen on mine but this is much worse. Just plan to go better with the next one.

I don't think I will get much for it. The excess is £150. After that I will be lucky to get anything.

Anybody got any ideas what a 1.3 mk2 would be worth in the eyes of the insurance lords?
