| Well the mk2 has gone (hope this is not another one i will regret) but I now have a new project! the spec is: 98(S) Audi A3 T Sport 118k folder of history including receipt for cambelt inc tensioner, water pump, thermostat Revo stage 1 map. Forge 007p Coilovers. 17" RS4 replica wheels sprayed in Ford Mercury Grey. A pillar mounted Boost gauge. Climate control 6 disc changer needs a little paint couple of minor bits to sort but pretty pleased with it

| Get the grille and badge the same colour as the wheels If your paint code is LB5N Indigo Blau I have some spare tinned paint in the garage that i would sell for a small fee Check the sticker in your boot. | |

| think its Ming blue? As usual with my projects, things are moving slowly! So far i have removed all the stickers as they are not really my thing (especially the "audi" ones on the wheels!), cracked a wheel and had it repaired (temporary fix until i get some more - thanks again to steve and steves bro - hopefully collecting 2 17" rs4 rims @ ultimate dubs for £40!), fixed a boost leak, 2.99 piece of silicon pipe from ebay was much better than what audi wanted for the pipe and wired the stereo up correctly! Also had a good quote to get the bumper done (thanks mik @ MV ) but funds are limited as im saving hard for my wedding in august! quality roads, glad i pay my taxes....... offending pipe. new pic, just because it was clean for once Exhaust is the next thing to sort as its blowing badly and perhaps raise the coilies a bit as i seem to bottom out more than i did in the mk2 and its not even as low! | |

| finally something to update! firstly i had my exhaust welded so the car sounds load better now, and today i picked up a new interior for it! Old seats like this: new: grey leather, its a bit lighter then i had expected but still pleased with and it was cheeeeeeaaap! some slight wiring issues, My existing seats do not have airbags in but the leather ones do. There are 3 wires on the plugs under the seats on both my existing seats and the leather ones but the plugs themselves are completely different. Obviously I need to connect these or the airbag light stays on, so is it just a case of cutting off the different connectors and connecting the wires up? I dont really want to cut the plug from my existing seats as I have someone interested in buying them but if the airbag light is on I think thats an mot failure and am a little nervous mucking around with airbag wiring. these are the plugs im talking about: current cloth seats: new leather seats: any ideas? Cheers Martin | |

| Just connect them up with some bullet connectors, i believe they are there for the seatbelt tensioners too. | |
