Yeah. Seen pics of the wheels on the previous owners car. Have to go too low to eliminate most of the arch gap. So hoping 40's won't be too bad. Would 45's look stupid?. Lol Nah Joe, pics were taking at my girlfriends house. Thanks mate.

| Had the time today to clean the car and fit the wheels i acquired a while ago, Unfortunately i cant go as low as id like without somehow modding the suspension, Currently fully down on the front and have about 5mm left on the rear. :( How can i go lower? Currently running 215 front and rear but would ideally like a 225 on the rear. So, heres a few pics. Will hopefully get some better pics tomo if i get time, This was also parked up next to me. | |

| Thanks max.
On the front shocks I have what looks like 2 adjuster things, would it be possible to remove one for more lows. Would it also be possible to completely remove the adjuster on the rear?

| Is there just 1 single spring on the front? and yes you can remove the whole adjuster on the rear, but i wouldnt untill you figure out a way to get the front down first. | |

I just looked at your first page where you put up a picture of the suspention and it seems they're not built the same as most of the common (aka cheap) coilover kits, which is a bit of a bummer. To get the front lower you may have to get some custom springs made up for them. As for the rears it depends on how they are adjusted, I can't work it out from the pic.

if that dosnt bring it down enough, you could alway get lowered top mounts i think they can bring it down 5 or 10mm

You mean the adjuster rings? ive been thinking about it with mine, but id only do it if you drill and use and grub screw on the remaining ring like Ap/Kw/Weitecs etc

Surely if you drilled it though, the shock would leak? I'm probably completely wrong there...

Only the lockring, not the actual strut you silly billy! its definatly worth giving a go, but the lockrings are generally cheap aluminum so might be hard to get a decent thread in

| you could also see if you can find some lockrings/spring seats from a coilover conversion kit it would give you more thread to allows them to sit lower i had some, but my mate needed them; | |

| Yeah just the lockring stampers And weitecs only have plastic adjusters and the thread is crap on them, but the grub screw only has to be finger tight to stop it moving. Ill be doing it if my Topmounts dont drop it abit like im expecting. | |

| Now have the car sitting how i want it on the rear, Its now about 25-35mm lower on the back and 10-15mm lower on the front, Personally want it down a touch more on the front but will have to see. I could however downsize the tyre, so maybe a 205/40-18 or a 215/35-18 on the front will have to do, Or Mattys grub screw idea or the lowered top mounts. Heres a s**te picture, until i get some more tonight. BIG THANKS TO CHRIS | |
