| when you open the bonnet you'll see a white plastic basket that stops the leaves and crap dropping into your blowers, undo the 2 or 3 bolts and lift the basket off. You'll see a tube type resistor that's about 4 inches long with 3 wires attached to it, each wire represents one speed on the blowers. The wires will go into the car and connect inside onto the blowers, the earth will connect to the back of the fusebox. it's pretty fiddly getting the wires thru the grommit hole but it'll all make sense once you start. I brought my replacement from someone on here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-GOLF-MK1-SCIROCCO-MK2-PART-HEATER-FAN-WIRING-/250736635917?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a6111700d | |
