chubbs 318 bm with bbs fitted :

hello all as some of you no i own the lil matt black mk4 polo but shes up for sale and if no oe buys it gonna be broken :(

anyway ive been on the hunt for a car for a few weeks as im in need of a bigger car due to expecting another lil one in march next year

so i was thinking my polo with 2 kids a buggy and luggage its never gonna happen

i have been looking at all kinds of cars from passat estates to golfs even to vauxhall

so after searching i found a nice lil 318is bmw he had it up for £700 so i went to have a look at it and when i got there it was dirty as hell so had a look around it found a few things wrong with it like one of the rear tyres was warn near the limit and the drivers seat is ripped a bitand the rear wheel bearing is on the way out but i thought there miner lil things so had a lil haggle with him and ended up shaking hands at £580 which i dont thinks to bad reason being is the stack of history tht i got with it loads lol heres a few pix of when i got her






first thing was to give it a good bloody clean inside and out and i dont think it looks to bad once clean a few rust bubbles but it is a 16yr old car so im not complaining







and a cheeky lil shine shot




plans are to take back cambelt kit for my polo and get full service kit for it and a rear wheel bearing so thts all sorted

future plans

get fog light
maybe ornge ambers on the front
tint fog light yellow
maybe remove from licence plate
and make it mint

apart from tht thts all dont worry im not going sticker/matt mad on this one

I have had 2 bmw e36 lovely cars to drive but I had a lot of trouble with my 2 !!! I had the 325i convertibale and it was a nightmare ! Yours looks great and for that money you cant go wrong ! Make sure you do the thermostat and the water pump as they are common to go, the water pumps have plastic propellers which break up.

well lamin x turned up today so had a go and its come out well good

jus gotta wait for the fog light to turn up and then it will be complete lol

but on the up other fog light turned up so i lamin xd it and fitted looks mean now

I'm getting tempted by the BMW side at the moment so you may have to give me a low down on what to look for

yeah its coming together nicely got offered to swap my alpina for a set of bbs split rims the standad bm ones mmm im tempted

got my new wheels

jus gonna get em powder coated in black and polish the lip

needs respraying all sorted on the insurance so hopefully gts sorted soon

yeah hes said he was to blam so was all good and the wheels i had a result earlyer i took them down powder plus and there gonna powder coat and sand blast all my centers gloss black for £70 so bit of a result

a bit of an udate today

went and picked up me new front number plate blank from bmw cost me £12 so im chuffed with tht



then i started to split the bbs rims ready to be sent to the powder coaters




thts it for now but will update soon ad again and then hopefully goes in bodyshop soon to get back bumper fix after tool man ran into the back of me

had the bolts elctro plated today took 3 hours and cost me £47 so not bad in all
