| Easy but wiring not mate Easiest 2L 8v combo for mk1 would be Bottom end from the donor you have, mk2 golf gti PB head and loom from same car if its before 89. Loom will then plug and play Did this conversion to my first caddy some years ago | |

| and dont put a tdi box on cause its cable change and not worth the hassle unless running big power | |

| dunno if this helps, but just fitted the same into my mk2 1.3 used the mk3 fusebox and the wiring was P$£S easy so i guess the mounts and tank may not be as straight forward but def do able | |
