| Is it possible to remove paint laquer but not the paint, I have major laquer peel and could wait for nature to take it course and remove the rest but want it all off. The paint now looks Matt finish where the laquer has gone and i quite like it. | |

| I would start with 800 grit has it gone white where the water has got underneath ? Then you will know when its all gone some bits will seem to take forever ! Takes a while use a cork block | |

Try sanding the laquer out just before the peely edge, it will smooth out nicely and the peely edge will feather away | |

| I think what Martin wants is the rest of the laquer off, Me I'd hit it with a pressure washer, the sort you'd clean patios with, I have one you may borrow if you like Mr. Nelder.
Shavs has the number.
