| Hi everybody, I'm running in the Great North Run on the 19th September and am running for the Alzheimer's Society who I will be trying to raise a bit of cash for over the next couple of weeks. Sooo, if you think you can afford even a small amount for a good cause please donate through my page which I have just created: http://www.justgiving.com/SIMONVWKING Thanks for your time! | |

| Thanks Gem Someone told me I need to build up my thumb muscles as it will help with the run so have to put the training in each night. Think his name was Lee or Mark or something.... | |

| Finished!!! Made it in 1.51.26 with one trip(just a small tumble), a toilet stop and shoe lace tie! It was a big learning curve being my first time and realising how hard it is running at your own pace with 54,000 other runners!!! I'll be doing it again next year but if anyone wants to put in a late donation to the Alzheimer's Society the details are above. Thanks to everyone that supported me.... | |
