| I got there at 12ish saturday. 4 of us in my car and they wanted £100 for the day! There was no separate price for day visitors so we left and went to Action instead. I was a bit disappointed but we didnt all have enough money to get in and didnt think it was worth it We got the free lollypops at the entrance so it was worth the trip and Action was good anyway | |

You're tellin' me! I turned up on the Sunday at 11.30am with Evie. We thought it'd be at MAXIMUM £20 for us to get in. Gave the bloke a £20 and was expecting a couple of quid in change, and he said "I'll need another tenner on top of that". £15 each and we were there for 5-ish hours at most. I'm definately not going there for 1 day ever again. If the show field was double the size of what it actually was, then that would justify the price they were charging for day entry.

Because a forum allows people to vent their personal opinions. And because the pricing was pretty stupid IMO. 10th Anniversary obviously means 'crank up the prices'. Oh yeah, and FYI... Dubfreeze - £10 each Ultimate Dubs - £12.50 each DC10 - £10 each You didn't have to enter the show 'n' shine. In your words, "Why b***h about it now?".

| Haha bitchy bitchy and I agree a lot of the shows are around 15quid to get in. And what else can ya do for the day that cost only £15 then?
I enjoyed my day and got no worries with paying that.

You didn't have to enter the show 'n' shine. In your words, "Why b***h about it now?". It was only slightly more than last year and if they are to try and improve the show / security etc etc that people always seem to moan about every year then costs are sure to rise. I should imagine the pricing at E38 is based on most people camping all weekend so £30 for 3 days at E38 is not that bad for a full weekend show (bugjam was DOUBLE that for a weekend ticket if you did not drive a vw). Am i right in thinking all the shows mentioned above are 1 day shows? So the only fair comparison to E38 would be the sunday price (£15) which for just £2.50 / a fiver more was well worth it! Personally i had a great weekend, one of the best yet!

| £15 for a day is fair enough for a good day out but £25 each for the day on Saturday is too much just because they only have one type of wrist band. I'll go on the Sunday next year | |

| I agree, £25 for the Saturday is crazy but £15 for the Sunday seems to be the norm now.
I still remember ("during the war") the days when shows were £5 to get in BUT you could also buy a chocolate bar for 20p too.......

| I didn't go but from the comments it seems weird how the price structure works most other weekend shows you can turn up and pay a daily fee or a weekend fee.
From the pics i seen it looks like it was a good show and am gutted i didn't go now. Instead i was at Trax which was £20 on the gate!

Too funny in there though I also got this in the face aswell!!......mae up for it by missing hitting it and punching a guy in the back!! On pricing yeah it was a bit much for the saturday as there was no day wristbands to my knowledge...but even if it was steeper than before thy had alot more security...which loved being jousted in the face!!! All in all a grat weeknd with great peoples!!
