| Hi fellow dub fanatics New member here - Ali Cabrio. Occasionally to be seen in rusty red MK1 Golf Cabrio in the vicinity of Royston. So far modifications include new roof, new head gasket, new radiator, and seat covers to contain the foam dissolving from the drivers seat. Hmmm, not exactly hard core. Time to start saving for a trip to the welders. AliCabrio | |

| Hiya all Curtis - I'm at the Barracks end of Bassingbourn - in one of the ex RAF/USAAF/Army houses. I've got a feeling I saw your caddy cruising past the school/war memorial the weekend before last - very shiny! Wotcha Martin B - Yeah I've met Bob and had some bits off him. There's also (still) a very helpful VW dealer - MJ Warner - in Hare Street that I'm sure you all know about, at the end of quite an entertaining drive along the backroads. I've had quite a few new parts sourced for me by Ivan there (OK Cambridge is probably technically closer, but HOW much is parking?). Nice pubs round there too, and very pictureskew. Hmmm - welding - yeah, well, the welder I bought my dad for his birthday two years ago was supposed to sort that bit out, but it's still sitting in one of his sheds covered in dust.... The best laid plans of mice and men..... Of course, I'll be able to do it myself once the kids leave home:D Only about 25 years to go..... AliCabrio | |
