| has any1 else had the problem that the track at the front is uneven, meaning 1 wheel sticks out more than the other? on my mk2 my passenger side front is 11mm further out than the drivers side so its like the subframe need to move 5mm over to the drivers side? Or could it be something else? | |

| maybe its a VR thing then its a tad annoying, i have got 10mm bigger adaptors though so its an easy fix just seemed abit odd for it to be that far out. | |

| Not sure on the earlier stuff but i know on Mk4's you have a reasonable amount of movement in the front sub frame bolts. Surely the Mk3 and Mk2 are similar? | |

| after market wishbone on side and oem on the other? might be dodgy after market parts causing it. Or a mk2 and a mk3 wishbone mixed up? measure your wishbone lengths i never had this problem on my mk2 VR | |

| both wishbones are the same tiz. when you did your VR did you have the manipulate the drivers chassis leg atall to clear the pulley? cuz i thought maybe the subframe is over abit to make clerance for the pulley? | |

| Yeah i did, before the pulley literally sat right up against the leg and would have stopped the engine turning. My manipulation method was a sledgehammer..... So you could be right if yours looks good there and hasnt been hit maybe they did move the subframe over, i remember there being a lot of adjustment in the subframe IE when slackened off you could move it either side quite a bit but i could be wrong. | |
