hello to everyone
ive been around the forum for a while now and sold a couple things , so i thought i'd make a contribution to the site by showing a few photo's of my little project.
after selling my g60 last year and spending the winter without a dub , i finaly got the itch again for something i could muck about with, so i bought this off a local lad who wasn't using it.
this is how it looked when i got it
it wasnt quite to my tastes but i could see some potential in it, so i parked it the sunshine and all the stripes that were on it peeled off nice and easy, took off all the trim so i could give it a mop as the paint was realy dull
after that was done i bought some new bumpers and heat gunned the side trims to bring them back to black, gave the wheels a quick polish and bolted on a cl front splitter
i was quite happy with this but wasnt realy happy with the wheels , so i took a trip to warrington to but a set of stroesks, they say on the wheel that they are 7x16 but when you measure the inside they are 7.5 and 8 on the outside. bought some new tyres for them 165/40/16 and they look like this
now it looks like this
just need to space the wheels out abit and lower the front about an inch and i'll be happy, its nothing new or ground breaking but i like it.
