Awesome! Glad you finally got into another Rado dude! I miss the old nugget so much, never did get over having to sell it so soon after buying it off of you!

Newport train station shot, that place is the hell that is my commute to work

pretty slow progress as been kinda busy with work and my wedding coming up this saturday but have got a few bits done - had a new wheel bearing and hub fitted and 2 new tyres on the front. The old ones were looking a bit "tyred" (sorry)....





Got the tracking checked at the same time, it was so far out it was off the gauge! Drives like a different car now!

Took the Bra off as I prefer braless....

I have got the bonnet looking okay again after a lot of tcut and polish. Also got a new steering wheel and standard gear knob:



the front seats both had covers on, the driver ones in knackered and will need replacing (anyone got one they want to sell me?) but the passenger one was ok just very stained so removed it and gave it a good clean and fitted new clips on the bottom so it does knock rock anymore:



Also managed to get a 7 slat grill (cheers g60 nick for the grill and Steve (caddyman) for picking it up for me) as Im not a fan of the debadged one, the badge was grotty so rubbed it down and started painting it black:

OMG its back again.

This is my mate James' old rado we was always out in this car driving round. His brother owned before him for a couple years. It was then sold to some dude in manchester then went elsewhere (nottingham rings a bell) then it appeared at the fendubbers meets again.

He so wishes he never sold the car and if I didn't have the mk1 then I was gona have it off him.

Sire did come from nottingham when i got it before i had a deal with martin

hmm, yeah I keep thinking that. Cant go lower at the front as already have clearance issues though....

A few updates, picked up a 16v grill badge at E38



However, its nots going to be a 16v for much longer and Mr Caddyman has twisted my arm (bad steve ) into another engine conversion...

Steve has not only removed the engine from the donor car, but started painting it all up for me too (good man! )













Seeing as Steve was doing all the hard work I thought I better do something useful so started sorting the loom out and removing all the grotty tape, got the whole family to help :

cheers, slowly collecting bits for the conversion as funds allow. Also finally managed to get hold of an early spec speaker grill for the front door pocket.

not much ealse to update so just whoring a few more pics as it was cleanish today (for once)...

the tatty drivers seat has bugged me since i got the car, so got some new fronts seats on ebay. Same material as my original seats but half leather:



Need to treat the leather with something as its showing some wear, but pretty pleased with them
