I do flip-all miles these days so i can almost justify the naff mpg so I thought why not! I was just looking through my old build thread for my old Benz and read about how I thought the 1-series was a girls car and I really wanted a CL haha, only took me 15 months to actually do what I wanted!

I don't have much planned for this as it's a well spec'd model, jsut need to sort out the interior AV stuff like iPod/DVD etc and then get some lower air ride sensors and hopefully some new wheels, as I said, but it will probably stay very similar to how it is now!

Niiice one jimmy, shame about the drivers door being a different shade though.

I'm almost jealous.

Its ok, the drivers is really the right colour, bad light and crappy iPhone picture make it look odd!

Got the 1 series back today, completely stock right back to the badges, it felt like the range rover to drive back from the garage!

Picking up the CL on Thursday but not before a quick trip to Peterborough to get my plate put on retention - it's an expensive game changing cars these days!

'I hope you like prison food..'

Edit - Sorry Sir Jimmy. Bring on the CL goodness.

My old man's mate had one of these a few years back. Until he drove it through a ford just a little too deep, electrics cut out, and he just got out before the driver's seat shifted so far forward that it removed the steering wheel from the rack. Laughing
