| Glad you both had a good time.
Im getting very tempted with the 16v conversion for mine now, but won't be for a while yet. Just loved the trip out in simons mk1 and very impressed how the valver engine pulls.

yeah, simon's is bloody rapid mate. We'll see how they both go down volksfest tomorrow. 16v is a good engine either carb a 16v or if wanting injection, go for the abf

| would like the ABF as it got a little more poke than KR, but would like to stay carb to keep things simple.
What sort of spec is yours then? all i know is yours is a valver engine lol.

What sort of spec is yours then? all i know is yours is a valver engine lol. I have the 2L 9a running injection bud, about 160bhp Abf is 150bhp standard but more when tweaking a few bits If you go for carbs then it would be peice a p**s to do. Just copy simon's lol. If injection then the abf would be best again. Its tidier, more refined and you'd only need a pump to run it. Its just wiring it in but then there's been a few done now so info would be readily available. Infact, if you go down this route, i'd help wire it for you

| Do it Luke, "seriously do it, do it, do it" Then we would have three MK1 Valver's in the club! Maybe I could convert my Blue one in the garage to a 16vG60 instead of the 20v MMMMmmmmmmm | |

| yea ive already noticed that but is that not identical to what simon has, i want to do something a little different as i dont want to copy exactly the same.
Also noticed the KR that was up for £60, hell of a bargain sold already by the looks of it.
