| Evening all. My name is Andy and I am the proud owner of a Mk 1 Golf Clipper, which some of you guys may have seen today as I joined the 6.30 crew travelling to DC10. I had a great day thanks to you all for making me feel welcome. I hope to get to some of your meets at some point soon and look forward to joining you for the GTI International Show later this month. The car is a 1992 Clipper which I have owner for about 6 weeks. This is the second Clipper I have owned, this one is a 1.8 (hence I was keeping up the rear of the convoy today -soz!) with a progressive Webber Carb FK, coilovers, Schmidt TH wheels biscuit leather interior. | |

| Welcome mate. I was the one happy snapping out of the green polo in the convoy. Very nice looking car, the wheels suit perfectly  I have a couple of pics they didnt come out too well im afraid. | |

| Welcome to the group, i did try to make the 6-30 kick off, but was too hung over first thing after a wedding reception  i saw your convertible in the line up at the show, and took a picture,  is a really nice whip, not normally a big fan of convertible, but this was a really nice one  hope to meet you at a montly meet, or possibly a show (not GTI int, as i am away  ) (good job i didnt make the 6-30 meet, as my little 1.3 would have really struggled to keep up if your 1.8 did) | |
