A 195/50 15 tyre will be fine on a 15 inch wheel, thats what I run on mine at the moment. The main thing you need to consider if you're putting bigger wheels on is whether you'll be increasing the rolling radius or not. Ideal you want to keep it the same or as close as otherwise your speedo will be out and you could put undue stress on gearbox/diff/driveshafts etc.

The ET number is the wheel offset. Basically the lower the ET number, the more the wheels will stick out from the arches. If your current wheels are ET38 and you swap them for some ET23's which are the same width (ie 7J's) you're new wheels will stick out an extra 15mm.

If you go bigger wheels with a lower ET you might have to get arches rolled so you don't get any scrapes, also depends how low your car is.

Hope that helps. Very Happy
