Hi all, I need an alternator pivot bolt for a MK1 GTI Cabby. Alternator is only held on by the adjusting bolt at the moment. help needed!!!!!

is it just a normal bolt? or is it a special type. if its a normal bolt i can get you one from work if you let me know what size.

Thanks mark, its the 10cm long one, not sure of the thread size. I got Cooks of P'boro to order me one in for £1.38 so should be ok cheers. Pick it up tomorrow. Only noticed it missing when I went to tighten the fan belt, now I know what is rattling under the bonnet lol
