Exactly. Everyone's quick enough to slate cheap coilovers yet I dont see the point in spending half of what my cars worth on suspension. If my car was worth £7K upwards, then I can understand spending close to a grand on it. But its not. I had Jamex on my MK4 and had no issues with the ride or build quality (other than them being a very tight fit). I'm now running on Rokkor coilovers on the BMW (Racelands sister company) which cost me £150 shipped from Belgium. It costs KW, AP, Weitec etc marginally more to make their suspension. I dont think adjustable damping and a big name should add a £500+ increase to something thats essentially the same. I'm not going racing, so I dont need FIA approved suspension. Thats my 2 cents.

| I have some jamex coileys and all my dampers are shot im rideing on springs so this time round i think its wise to pay a bit more for better build quality | |

Thats my 2 cents. Youve clearly never been in a car with KWs or the like if you think its just adjustable rebound and a big name. that price range of coilover is a world away from cheap ebay coilovers. Can understand what you say about not worth it if the car isnt worth much though.

+1 +2 I've got some jamex coils and they cost £180 delivered! They ride great, infact better than when I had shock and lowering springs! Well worth it. And even if they bust after a couple of years, they were only £180!
