| What sort of mpg am I likely to see out of a 2.0 16v mk3 golf?
I think I'm going to put an abf lump in the passat and would like to know roughly what to expect.

| Mark, In the three abf'd motors I've owned they have all averaged around the 35 mark Depending on how you drive a little more on a run a little less if you cane it. If I were to do a conversion I'd be looking to put it on a stand alone ecu IE Emerald, as you'll see the most power from it as the standard map is pants. Put kr cams in it and give the head a little tickle and you'll have a strong motor. I've seen standard ones on kr cams and kjet run 190 with no issue. Its a good and wise choice. I hth. | |
