Red mk3 dirty D

Been a while since ive logged onto here , got a new car about 6 weeks ago now its a 1995 Mk3 Golf 1.9D needs some work but i didnt pay alot for it so i was expecting some work to be there , gave it a quick tidy when i first got it ,


there was a fair arch gap when i picked it up so soon coilovers went on her

then mk2 16v alloys , ( cant remember the name of them )

and this is what it looks like now ..





got a few more plans for it ,

vr6 cloth front seats ,
pair of wings,
rear arch work,
smoked front lights ,

and if i can afford it i would like a vento front

proof that a good slam is always the best thing to do

yeh man done it the world of good , made such a differance to the handeling aswel not doing bad for under 300quid

mate i was struggling to keep up on the a47 the other day......

i like the way everyone with a decked mk3 always take off the front mud flaps but leave the rears on. lol looks good though! my headlights in my sig are for sale if ur interested?

didnt even realise that counted as a mod they wernt there when i brought the car lol

cheers man , this is the first lowerd car and apart from having to change a tyre and re set the tracking its been all good so far

tracking on a slammed car is a c**t, on my mk2 me and my brother had to do it by eye.

cheers mate hardly worth cleaning in this weather !" as for the modding i didnt wanna go crazy on this on as its opnly a stop gap car until i can find a nice project thats worth putting money into so ill make it as nice as i can and leave it as a daily

done a bit of work recently , sprey the grill and badges black and broughtthe bumpers back to life again looks alot beter when its clean ! piks to follow

decided to strip the paint of the golf and rat her up abit but the olf nitromores

its taking ages , any ideas billy?

looked alot better before imo

also if you wanna strip the paint dont use nitromorse its complete poo, i used 40grit sand paper for mine

yeh it did look beter as a normal car but then again how far can you go with a mk3 and its not going to get through another mot so i decided to have a bit of fun with it , if im honest i hate the car but its cheap to buy and run so ill stick with it for a while

you can go a looooong way with a mk3

erm it will need a rear floor , steering rack wings and a few other bits and bobs
