| Easy now! iv recently bought a bbs bodykit for the bargain price of £30 and want to fit the front spoiler/splitter. at one of last years shows i took a pic of a caddy on the fendubbers stand, is he/she on here? if rough fitted it and it sticks out, im just wondering if this did too, or what was done to stop it from sticking out cheers Fred | |

| yeah, i had this kit on my cabby too. what do you mean by sticks out? like a splitters spose to do? | |

| the kit normally has arches too. thats why its sticking out. your gonna have to trim it down to prevent that

| yeah so that is the only way then? i have found a pic of one with some arches fitted that arent the bbs ones, and it doesnt look as if the splitter has been cut down, any ideas what they are?? | |

| i think what luke did was trim it down on the inside so it can be pinched in closer to the arch at the end. this it it on my old cabby | |

| the arches on the white 1 look like standard gti arch trims colour coded. | |

| i have found a set of mk1 gti arches in my garage, and they look the same as the white ones, so as you said matty_mk1, cut and pinch! cheers for the help guys, il get some after pics up when its done | |

| I didnt trim the spoiler down or run arch's, like Matty said i pinched it in to the arch. I used pop rivets to pull it on to the lips of the arch's if that makes sense. | |
