nxt up rear caliper conversion ,and a 280mm upgrade on the front .pics soon to come

i know alot of people are gunna slate me for this ,but i'm rounding up all the stuff i need to do a rear caliper conversion,
and yesterday i went to see Guy and this was the result

i would like some input on the colour for the calipers and carriers ,and i will also paint the stub(the fronts are nxt)

did you use the rocco 16v handbrake cable for that ,or move the cable brakets out futher

Yeah i did use the rocco 16v cable

Make sure the calipers are in good nick too...i bought mine as a complete set of parts to do the conversion...but the calipers were shagged

i did the same ,one of the calipers are really gd but one needs a new seal kit,i've done it more for the look,but i really like the idea of calipers on the back rather than cans,cans remind me of chopper bikes

i still would like some input on the colour for my brakes i was thinkin dyno rod orange wat do u think?

still cound'nt decide what colour to do the calipers and carriers so i bought the cheapest
Had my bearins pressed in the disks and this is what happend with the first set

so then they were replaced with these,much better

oh and this is the calipers,not to sure on the colour i may change ,What do you think

sounds like a plan ,last time i tried on my old jetta i gave up and took it to a garage

Yeah did it on the ramp.

As long as you have all the parts it won;t take long at all...just make sure you have the flexi pipes to go with those calipers too They will be mk2 rear ones if that's what the calipers are.

When would you want to do it?

not sure yet mate ,but this morning orded mk2 felxi pipes like you said ,rocco hand brake cable and some pads,but i also want to put braided brake lines all the way through ,because i have a 256mm set up for the front also

Did you get both rocco cables?

yeah got both,can you do the braided lines

We can fit them but not make them.

If you order them see if you can do a mix and match between mk1 and mk2

finally got the rear brakes on



next i will put the servo and master cylinder on

little bit off a update ,ive finally fitted my weber carb just waitin for the breather filter for the top of the rocker to turn up,and to source the filter i want





oh and i thought id throw this in its a big one huh

does BFC stand for "Big f*****g Can"?
