yeah it does happen my mate was doing a charity event car show type thing in haverhole town centre and was told they'd all have a pre arranged police amnisty (think i spelt that right lol) ?? basically they'd have there tunes up, rev engines, pop flames etc and wouldnt get in the s**t for it as it was for charity.

A week later he received a letter from his insurance company stating please could you phone us immediately so he did and they basically said you appear to have modified your car without telling us he said he told them about all his mods so questioned it???

thats when they said well the way you described your car is nothing like the photos i have here on my desk at this point my mate went what photos????

apparently someone had sent them photos of every angle of the car including interia, and underneath the f****n thing lol

in the end he had to pay out an extra 150 for the:

front rear bumpers
steering wheel
and the so called custom paint job on the wheels because it blue instead of the standard silver lol

fuckers or what he thinks the police done it so best be aware they do have ways.

i hope your being sarcastic when you say they are a handful....I put a vr in a mk2 it was reasonably quick but i wouldnt call it a handful by a mile, youd want about 400hp and RWD in something that wasnt designed for the power for it to be a handful.

i no ther not mind blowing bruv but they are powerfull for wat they are.. all that torque thru the front wheels is just daft.. they handle like a bag of wank and just torque steer and spin at every oppertunity.. too much weight up front and still wont lay the power down.. not ballenced.. not gracefull.. not a nice drive.. but each to ther own

Its all good dude! everyone has there opinion, and we've all had different experiences in different cars. I love my vr but saying that ive hardly had any other 'fast' cars to compare it too lol.
