No Reverse lights

Subject: No Reverse lights Sun Nov 15 2009, 13:55

For some reason i have no Reverse lights at all its not the fuse or the bulbs cant work it out why they not coming on

Number of posts: 241 Registration date: 2008-01-19

Reverse light switch?
Unplug it on the bearbox and put a piece of wire between the pins on the plug. If the lights come on, new switch required.

mine didnt work on my mk3 gti and replaced the swich and all fixed and they arnt expensive and a 5 min job

i got the same problem on my breddy i put a new bulb in and its gone agen :( ???????????????????????????

i wouldn worry to much about it itsnot an mot faliure and the switch will sit ontip of the gear box

i know but it a pain to get out of parking spaces

oon mine i have to wiggle the gear stick for the light to come on now ive noticed
