I've not had any engine work done, or likely to do so tbh, it's standard 1800 16v kr with magnex 4 branch

looking good jim have u modded the water out let on the front of the head coz it will catch the linkage and wont allow the carbs to fully open
u need to cut and angle it dwn slightly and have it rewelded

Got to run a pipe from outlet down to oil cooler area as the blanking plate I got is sh1t and hasn't worked, so back to drawing board.

90% all bolted down I think, I'll check again before she gets fired up lol.

Some thieving b*****d decided they would try an break in my garage lastnight (been a spate of garage break in's here) luckily I had been prewarned by another victim yesterday,

so garage was locked and a few little booby traps placed, bikes were away etc, so I wake this morning go outside and some s**t has nicked my boots from the backdoor and climbed and trampled my fence!!!

Then I saw scene of crime leaving the estate so I've got eyes open!!!

Rad is mk1 golf replacement from gsf, slight difference from original so hose/carb has not been a problem, only drama is it has temp senders front n rear and I only need 1, so gotta blank it off with machined down old one.
