t25 campervan project.

I have had this van for a while now but every time I work on it, I forget to take picks.
I brought it off my dads mate for £400, my dads mate had replayed it as it was a nasty brown, but his prep was rubbish. in some places it had not been keyed and the paint just flecked off with my finger nail! also he had used a lot off fibreglass instead off welding. So.. I have set to work striping it back and welding! most off the prep and the welding is done now and the van is reedy to be primed. All I have to do now is decide what colour I want it. I am toying with a baby blue bottom half and cream top half and lower it on my 928 rims.

engin wise, it is a 1.9 petrol, 5 speed, however driving it home the clutch desided to burn out and we had to tow it the rest off the way also the waterpump is leaking but nothing me and the old chap cant fix

Looks like a good project, i'd love a camper to mess around with - especially if i could find one at such a bargain price!

ah i see will use that one next time, i got the wheels from g60 phill, they were semi polished when i got them i just finished them off, there are like a mirror now!

It's looking good liam, barely fits in your garage though Blue and cream sounds awesome, what about brown and cream?

Any plans for the interior?

i have let the air out off the tyers synce you last see it ash, the roof light misses the beams now should be ok once i have lowered it tho! not a fan of brown and cream, probley going for the blue!

as for the interior im am after so nice seats from the scrapy!! i found a Sabb the other day with nice tan leather, but they were tooo big!! all the door card ect are going tan cloth, and the rear bed will be retrimed with the materail i get from the rear bench when i find the seats i want! and the kitchen will get restained!
