Hi everyone, I'm Andy from Cambridge.

Some of you might've seen me at the Newmarket Road meets, or the Bury VW meet. Not made one in a while because I've been tinkering again. Needs more tidying up, but the turbo motor's now running on an Emerald ECU. Will be out and about it in soon once Dave Walker's mapped it.

Dude that is one wicked sleeper... was it a g40 engine to start with or complete build???

been thinking of a 1300 turbo..... not sure what for, but thats minor details Laughing

Cheers for the welcome guys.

It's a G40 bottom end, with forged pistons whacked in there. Running a Polo GT head with larger exhaust valves, and various other Polo CL/GT/G40 bits mated up to other scrapyard parts. There's bits of Vauxhall and Volvo on the car amongst others!

Picking up an LSD at the weekend, just got to find the time to pull the 'box off, stick my spare one on and get the original rebuilt again with the diff. Coilovers will come eventually, probably going to make some. Got bigger brakes and 14"s to fit too. Remap will be first though, it's already booked in - hoping for the naughty side of 200bhp.

Ja, Grippa LSD from Polo PP. Cool

Reckon I'd have got into the 13s last year if I'd gone to RWYB a bit more - only went twice after it was mapped on Digifant... Managed a 14.0 @ 99mph at the Pod and a 14.0 @ 101mph at Avon Park. Will be running more boost with Emerald now, so with the diff I'm hoping for regular 13s passes.
