thanks ive got the rear panel welded on now just need to do the rear passenger bottom arch then done.

grind down welding and prep work for paint can begin.

Because it was a 1.1 engine and the engine mount is in a dif place to a GTI.

No ya wolly, 1.1's and 1.3's have the engine mount further forward than 1.5, 1.6 and 1.8 engined mk1's.
ALL caddy's are GTI ready!! Wink
